Foods that can help keep our eyes youthful and healthy

Some ways to help lower that risk include fueling our diets with foods rich with beta-carotene, (think carrots, sweet potatoes or pumpkin)  or dark-green leafy vegetables (kale, collards, spinach).

Seafood, such as salmon and shellfish, or other foods containing a lot of omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, vitamin E  are also beneficial for good eye health. Other foods helpful to maintain good eyesight include berries, legumes, garlic, shallots and egg yolks.
