August is Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month

With back to school specials on TV already, let’s take a moment to discuss children and health of their eyes. It’s recommended that children have a comprehensive eye examination prior to kindergarten. School screenings are helpful, but may miss detection of some eye conditions. If these issues are left uncorrected, the student may struggle in school. We can help! Sometimes, a wearing glasses can make a significant difference for little ones and beginning their first year(s) at school.
